PT Hut Fitness Centre Limited ("we", "us") operates this website and the PT Hut Fitness Centre gym at Unit 3C, Mackenzie Industrial Estate, Stockport, SK3 0SB. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website and at the gym, and we are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration reference ZC118657.

When you contact us, by email, phone or social media, we receive the details you choose to give us, typically your name, contact details and the content of your message. This website itself does not collect or store your messages.
If you use the membership request form on this site, the details you enter (name, contact details and chosen plan) are delivered straight to our email inbox via Web3Forms, a form delivery service, and are not stored on this website. We will only use them to contact you about joining.
If you join the gym, we collect the details needed to set up and manage your membership, such as your name, contact details and date of birth. For members aged 14 to 16 we may also ask for proof of ID and a parent or guardian's details.
Payment details for membership Direct Debits are collected and processed by our payment provider, Access PaySuite, on their own secure systems. We do not see or store your bank details through this website.
This website does not require an account and does not have a login.
We use your information to: respond to your enquiries; set up and manage gym memberships and bookings (including personal training and physio appointments); take payments through our payment provider; and meet our legal obligations. Our legal bases under UK data protection law are the performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests in running the gym and responding to enquiries, and consent where we ask for it.
We do not sell your information, and we will not add you to marketing lists without your consent.

We keep enquiry correspondence only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. Membership records are kept for the duration of your membership and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting and insurance obligations.
We share information only where needed to run the gym: with Access PaySuite to process membership payments, and with our professional advisers or authorities where the law requires. Personal trainers at the gym are independent professionals, and anything you share with them directly is handled by them.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email info@pthut.co.uk.
